New Stratford-area facility offers renters up to $50 toward gas as prices squeeze household budgets
STRATFORD, VA, UNITED STATES, August 31, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — With gas prices continuing to strain household budgets across South Jersey, Great American Self Storage is putting money back in customers’ pockets literally. The company announced today that new renters at its Stratford-area facility will receive a prepaid gas card with every new lease, an initiative designed to ease the financial pressure that so often accompanies a move.
Every new renter who signs a lease for a 10×10 unit or larger will receive a $50 gas card. Renters of smaller units will receive a $25 gas card. The offer runs for a limited time.

We wanted to do something that helps. A full tank of gas is something a lot of our neighbors can use right now.”
The gas card giveaway is part of a broader push by Great American Self Storage to position its facilities as good neighbors, not just storage providers, in the communities where it operates. Great American Self Storage is also providing 50% off rent for nonprofits and charities in the community. The company’s Stratford-area location joins a growing portfolio of facilities nationwide, with an emphasis on modern security features, climate-controlled units, and drive-up access.
