The new private vault at 22 King William Street pairs secure storage with gold and silver sales.
ADELAIDE, 7 October 2026: Vault Australasia has opened a private vault in the heart of Adelaide at 22 King William Street. The business rents safe deposit boxes, stores bullion, and sells gold and silver.
An independent Australian company, Vault Australasia is affiliated with Commonwealth Vault, which has operated private vaults in New Zealand since 1998. In Adelaide, storage and bullion sit side by side at one address.
The opening comes at a time when some Australian banks are winding back safe custody, prompting many customers to look elsewhere for somewhere to keep their valuables.
A box of your own
Vault Australasia’s Adelaide safe deposit boxes can hold documents, jewellery, watches, heirlooms, coins and other valuables, and customers can visit during opening hours. Many choose a box for papers that are hard to replace, such as passports, wills and property titles, and for personal items with sentimental value.
Customers keep their own box key, and Vault Australasia holds no copy. Security monitoring is provided by SECOM Security, and after-hours emergency access can be requested. Those needing more room can lease a private cage or vault, with pricing on application.
Gold and silver
Alongside storage, customers can purchase gold bullion and silver online. The range includes gold bars and silver from selected mints and refiners, and live spot prices are shown on the gold and silver pages.
When bullion is bought online, it can be placed straight into the buyer’s box at the vault. It is never shipped, so there is nothing to collect and nothing to keep at home.
Identity and proof of address checks apply before a customer’s first purchase.
Customers who already hold bullion bought elsewhere can store it at the vault too, keeping gold and silver in the same box as documents and jewellery so it can all be checked in a single visit.
Seeing the vault
The bullion range and box options are listed online. Customers can request prices and availability for a box, or arrange a visit to see the vault before they commit.
Chief Executive Jerome Concisom said the company was built for people who build wealth steadily.
“What people bring to us is what matters most to their family: documents, jewellery, or gold put aside year after year. We keep it safe, and we intend to be here for the long term.”
“For anyone buying gold or silver, we wanted buying and keeping in one place. Order a bar online and it is already in your box. What your family builds here will still be here.”
The vault is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 6.00pm.
