MIAMI, FL / ACCESS Newswire / August 14, 2026 / Black Sheep Coffee has announced a 20-store franchise development agreement across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, marking one of the largest single franchise deals in the Miami-headquartered company’s history. The agreement is being led by franchise partner Yoloways, with confirmed markets including Bedford, Plano, Rowlett, and Grapevine, and additional sites planned across the region.
Founded by co-CEOs Gabriel Shohet and Eirik Holth, Black Sheep Coffee operates as the world’s first Specialty-grade 100% Robusta coffee company. The brand pioneered the application of Specialty-grade quality standards to Robusta, a bean the specialty coffee industry had long treated as a commodity ingredient. The result is a coffee with higher caffeine content than Arabica, more protein, and lower acidity, served alongside ceremonial-grade matcha sourced directly from Japan, which accounts for 18% of total company sales, and Norwegian waffles.
Every Black Sheep Coffee location features original street art painted directly onto the walls by commissioned artists, with each shop receiving a piece created specifically for that space.
